Stamp Control and Inspection Status Induction¡@
VI. 7.1. Purpose
This procedure is for the purpose of describing the company system for controlling the stamps used by Quality Assurance Department and for indicating
the inspection status of the materials, semi-products and finish products.
VI. 7.2. Scope
Applies to all stamps used by Quality Assurance Department and designed to a specific authorized Quality materials whether in process or storage.
VI. 7.3. Procedure
7.3.1. The inspection stamps must be uniquely identified and designed to a specific authorized Quality Assurance inspection personnel.
7.3.2. The Quality Assurance Department is responsible for issuing and controlling quality inspection and identification stamps. The department shall
document their use and issuance procedure.
7.3.3. The stamp recipient is the only person permitted to use the assigned stamp and is responsible for keeping it clean and its impressions legible.
Worm stamps must be replaced. The recipient shall immediately report in writing the loss or worn of a stamp.
7.3.4. The Quality Assurance Department is responsible for the immediate preparation and distribustion of a written announcement of the loss a stamp and
citing the invalid date.
7.3.5. Stamps returned because of transfer of termination shall not be reissued for least six (6) months.
7.3.6. The inspection status of materials, semi-products and finish products shall be record on the items themselves through the use of stamps, labels
and tags, and / or the item traveler with stamps which were clearly shown their inspection status.
7.3.7. Non-conforming material label or ticket shall be use for identifying and routing rejected part for disposition.
7.3.8. Final inspection stamp and electrical test stamp shall be applied to designated location of PCB as defined by traveler or customer specifications.
